Custom BootjacksA bootjack is a device used to remove boots. Step on the footplate with one foot, insert the other foot heel first into the yoke of the bootjack and pull your foot out of the boot. Leather StrappingThe leather strapping is designed to protect the finest boot leather or skin from scuffing and scarring. The artist cuts and ties each strap to the yoke. Metal BaseEach bootjack is individually sand-casted of bronze, aluminum, or cast-iron metal. The base creates a stable foundation for boot removal. The approximate weights for the boot jacks are: 8 lbs. for the bronze, 3 lbs. for aluminum, 6 lbs for the cast iron. FootplateEach bootjack has a footplate that can be personalized. Livestock brands, company logos, artwork, names and initials can be burned into the footplate. |
